So as you all know S/mileage's 6th major single, Uchouten Love (which im in love with...im a sucker for eurobeat/para para) has been their highest selling single yet. It seems like UFA has finally learned how to make a PV cheap but look really good too!
Anyone who knows me knows that im not the hugest s/mileage fan and I know everyone is saying S/mileage is the next big thing but I just dont see how! I just dont understand! Momusu, Berryz, and C-ute all have more talent then these girls. People may argue that they are young but just look at Airi, Risako, and Mai.
With that being said, This brings me into the S/mileage Auditions, which I haven't been following until recently(yesterday).
Here are the girls that got picked to be sub members in s/mileage (I will explain later)
Going from left to right(bottom row): Takeuchi Akari, Tamura Meimi, Kosuga Fuyuka, Nakanishi Kana, and Katsuta Rina.
It seems like Tusnku chose 2 EGGs, EGGs ive never even heard of.
My personal favorite (basing it off of looks and audition videos) is Meimi. Least favorite being Akari (shes a bit awkward).
As for the sub-member idea....I dont really like it at all. If tsunku was going to choose the right girls for the job then do it right the first time. Not kill their hopes and dreams and possibly get a law suit in about 2 months. Its just not ok. He did say that there was 4 choices of what would happen to the girls:
1. Become full members
2. Get Demoted into the EGGs for further training
3. Be placed somewhere else in H!P
4. Leave H!P forever.
As stated in Aririi~n Deshou, I also like the rotating member idea which was the plan of Berryz Koubou in the first place. I think leaving H!P forever is a cruel idea.
OK! As for Karin. She doesn't fit into s/mileage. She cried when she didn't make it into s/mileage not because she didn't make it into a group, but because she wanted to be in S/MILEAGE with her friends! But Tsunku knows that her time to shine is in Morning Musume. With Ai leaving and Risa not too far behind, We need some strong vocal powers in Morning Musume! Reina and Riho are the center now. Sayumi seems to be getting a bit better. But we need more powerhouses!
Well...im pretty at awe with S/mileage right now. Its interesting
